About Us
Adler’s was established in Budapest, Hungary in 1909.
The tradition was continued in downtown St. Louis since 1957 in the Arcade, Paul Brown and Frisco buildings and later on Forsyth Avenue in Clayton.
The legacy continues in the Brentwood Pointe shopping center at 8468 Eager Road.

Why Should You Buy From Adler's Jewelers?
Adler’s was established in 1909 and has been serving the St. Louis community since 1957. Adler’s has many satisfied clients across the United States.
We pride ourselves on attention given to each individual no matter what your budget. We always try to keep the customers budget in mind and never try to up sell unless otherwise requested.
We will sit down and educate you on various aspects of quality, show the different aspects of a diamond to you, and then let you be the judge.
Our large selection of loose diamonds allows clients to compare multiple diamonds which can be viewed side by side. This allows clients to see the characteristics of each individual diamond. Try and do that on the internet, hard to see the quality on a computer screen.
The only way to learn about your preference is to see the diamonds and compare as many as you can. You can’t buy just based on a report! The right diamond will “speak” to you.
We always tell our clients, “If you can’t see the difference, don’t spend your money”. Keep in mind a lifetime guarantee, whether purchased or included in the price of the item, is only as good as long as the company is in business. These guarantees sound great, but read between the lines and understand that abuse and neglect are not covered; you will still need to insure it. This insurance will cover loss, theft, and damage. This is sound advice, and should be heeded.
Adler’s customers are the best advertisement. The reviews online speaks of customer service and values. We strive to improve that on a daily basis. We don’t spend thousands upon thousands of dollars on advertising to tell you how low our prices are, how large our selection is, or that we buy direct. We show you! Compare apples to apples and you will see why we have been around for over a century.
Any purchase made at Adler’s will have an appraisal done for replacement value. This is done at customer’s request.
Anyone selling a diamond or piece of jewelry should be able to supply you with an appraisal, if not, request one to be done by a trained individual for verification.
APPRAISALS
Appraisals on any item purchased from Adler’s will be supplied upon request at no additional charge.
Appraisals for insurance purposes are written at current replacement value.
Appraisals on items not purchased at Adler’s will be done on a piece by piece basis. Any item not in our area of expertise will be referred to appropriate expert.
PEARL RESTRINGING
Adler’s has in house pearl restringing and cost will be based upon length, type of material used, catches supplied.
ENGRAVING
Adler’s can have items engraved for you.
Pricing will be based on whether item is hand engraved or machine engraved, size of engraving and detail requested. Estimates will be given prior to work being done upon customer request.
ADLER’S GIFT CARD
Adler’s Jewelers has gift cards for every occasion. Gift cards may be purchased in any denomination and may be used for merchandise purchases as well as services.
Gift cards must be used within one year of date of purchase.
CUSTOM DESIGN
Any custom wax or cad / cam work must be paid for upfront. Upon approval of wax or cad work a deposit of 30% of approximate total price of completed piece.
NO REFUNDS, CREDITS OR EXCHANGES ON CUSTOM ORDERS.
WATCH REPAIR
Adler’s does replace watch batteries.
Any customer watch needing work done will get an estimate from watchmaker and customer approval before work continues.
IN HOUSE LAYAWAY
Merchandise may be placed in layaway with a minimum of 20% down and five equal payments to follow. Merchandise must be paid for and picked up within five months of initial transaction or Christmas Eve whichever comes first. If monthly payments are not made or any merchandise not picked up within layaway period, the merchandise will be returned to stock and all deposits forfeited.
STORE CREDIT CARD
Adler’s financing is available through Wells Fargo.
Clients have an option of 90 days same as cash on amounts under $1000 or 180 days same as cash on amounts over $1000.
This is based on credit approval by Wells Fargo. You may apply on our website. Just click on Wells Fargo logo, and fill out application to apply.

Adler’s buys gold, silver, and platinum. Prices will be based upon prevailing market conditions. The pricing will be determined by type of item, condition, and weight of item. We will also buy diamonds, price to be determined by quality and prevailing market conditions for shape and size. Adler’s will always be glad to give a bid on your item.
It is recommended that where ever diamond was originally purchased should be tried first. They sold the item and may be more apt to pay a higher price.
