Blackthorn Tattoo, located in Columbia, Mo is a professional tattoo studio with over 35 years of experience in tattooing and peircing. Some of our specialties are Free style, custom work, portraits, free hand, cover-ups, and of course the traditional tattoo. We boast the largest collection of designs in the area, taking the next step from traditional flash in racks to keeping them on mulitiple computers for you to peruse through. Every customer at Blackthorn Tattoo has a professional consultation to determine how we can best serve their needs everytime. Our pricing starts at a 30 dollars for tattooing and peircing, currently we have 3 artists who welcome walk – ins as well as appointments. We are open 7 days a week at 12 pm.

Well tonight I took my 5 year old daughter's earrings off that I had gotten pierced at the mall about three months ago. They looked pretty bad, so I called Blackthorn, who I had never done business with and knew nothing about, and asked them what I should do. They asked me if I could bring her in, and I did. They gloved up and went to work. Turns out my daughter's ears were infected (my own fault) and were in pretty bad shape. After about an hour, we were out of there with clean ears, new earrings, and all the cleaning instruction I needed. They were all so sweet to my girl and had her giggling the entire time. The place was clean and tidy, and overall it was a great experience.

I love this place, they are really laid back and actually want to help you out and they actually do good work!!! Working on a coverup from another local studio that did a horrible job, it is looking awesome! Would recommend this place to anyone, love the artists, love the work, great place overall!!!
