About Us

Bonebrake Heating & Cooling Inc. is a family owned business established in 1973. The founder, Greg Bonebrake Sr. is a graduate of South County Tech. and has a multitude of experience in all aspects of the heating and cooling industry. His commercial experience began in 1970 at Ritepoint Pen Corporation, a 15 acre manufacturing complex in Fenton, Missouri. While there he maintained the daily operation of the facilities’ mechanical equipment. This included but was not limited to the installation, servicing and repair of boilers, chillers, rooftop HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, unit heaters, and manufacturing and process equipment related to day to day operations. In 1978, Greg was asked to return to South County Tech as an instructor for the Adult Education Program and continues teaching to this day. Greg is also an active member of the HVAC / R advisory committee for the St. Louis County Special School District as well as Vatterott College. In 1994, Greg left Ritepoint to devote his full attention to Bonebrake Heating & Cooling. Since that time, Greg has provided quality HVAC service at reasonable prices in the St. Louis / Jefferson County area. Periodically, Greg is called upon to provide technical assistance to Nordyne Inc, parent company of the Frigidaire, Intertherm line of heating and cooling equipment.
