This place used to be top notch. USED to be. Years ago, before the current owner Melissa took over. It has substantially gone down hill in the last few years. Each month worse than the previous. Plan to have your dogs here 6-10 hours each visit. After going here for 10 years and them having my dog for 10 hours on the most recent occasion I was upset, their response when I finally reached someone on their cell phone was "maybe you should take him somewhere else". They stated to me that their 'rules' say your dog will be ready in 6-8 hours that ALL of their clients are aware of this 'rule'. I have never seen or heard of any such 'rule', I have the voice mail now to prove that they DO INDEED have such a rule, apparently. SO unless you are looking for a dog sitter all day I would not recommend taking your pet here. My dog has never been ready in less than 7 hours, NEVER. Bring cash or check, their credit card machine has been broken for a couple of years now. Plan to book appointments a year in advance, literally, you will have to stand in line to turn in an appointment card once a year so you can book for the entire year. They do not answer their telephones, go in person if you wish to schedule or cancel. Which is funny to me because if you don't show for your appointment they will make you pay a fee, yet you can't get them to answer their phone so that you can cancel in an emergency. Your dog will need to potty immediately upon leaving and will be parched, leading me to believe they are not let out to potty and are not given water in these 6-10 hours that they have your fur baby. They do not require you to show that your dog is up to date on shots upon your first grooming. The shop stinks horribly, and is full of hair. If you didn't have allergies before going in here, chances are you will after. This review is based on a standing every 4 week appointment and personally watching this place go WAY DOWN HILL. I would reconsider going here. I searched online for other reviews, years ago the reviews raved about this place. Any reviews within the past 2 years are terrible. If you love your fur baby, do some investigating. Look at the reviews.
