About Us

Central Missouri Orthodontics has been creating beautiful smiles in Columbia, MO for over 30 years. The practice was started by Dr. Bill Ramlow and Dr. Jerry Harl. Dr. Taylor joined the practice a few years later and bought it in 2004. He graduated from dental school at UMKC in 1999, and completed his residency in orthodontics at Saint Louis University in 2001.

Dr. Taylor is a specialist in orthodontics, our main focus is braces for adolescents and adults, and we also offer Invisalign and Invisalign Teen to qualified patients. 

Our office has an in house lab which makes us capable of fabricating removable and fixed appliances with quicker turn around. Our lab technician has 26 years of experience and all of our technicians are certified, meaning they have extra training and will make your appointments quick and easy.

The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient's problem. It is impossible to give you an accurate fee without Dr. Taylor seeing you. Please know we have payment plans to suit different budgets, including a no-down-payment option. We also accept assignment from most insurance plans, and file the necessary papers to the insurance company. We work hard to make orthodontics affordable.
