Welcome to Computer Medics of Springfield Remote Support Service!

Sometimes you just can't wait for your computer to be repaired or it's not possible to squeeze an appointment into your busy schedule. With that thought in mind, we have come out with our new "Remote Support" package. If you would like service in this manner, it will be necessary to contact us by telephone prior to connecting at 417-890-5499 and setup a time that is convenient to you.

Once contacted, we will establish a remote control connection with your computer and you will be asked to run and install a support file which will be put on your computer to establish the connection. You will then be asked for permission to connect to your computer system.

Once connected, the technician will then be able to see and operate your computer almost the same as sitting in front of it!  The service provides up to and including, rebooting the computer system into safemode. You can see everything the technician is doing on your computer system and can end the session instantly at any time by double-clicking on the Computer Medics icon on your task bar and choosing close, or right-clicking on the icon and selecting close from the popup menu. Once the session ends the software will be automatically removed from your computer.

This support is handled as a "Remote Per Incident" service.  Fixing your Computer never was easier!

Rates

• Travel to your site in Springfield: Free
• Initial Diagnosis: Free
• If we try to fix your problem, but can't: Free
• A small service charge for travel to nearby towns if I'm not already in the area.
• All other services: $75 an hour for the first hour, and by the quarter hour after that.
  • Any parts or software purchased through us are extra, with quotes provided before any part or software is installed.
• Laptop hardware repair is $75.00 labor plus the cost of the parts.

Computer Medics is on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week to provide you service when your computer needs repair.  Accepted methods of payment include Cash, Check, MasterCard, VISA and we do invoice upon approval.
