About Us

Dannys Landscaping INC was incorporated in November of 2006 in Columbia, MO with the mission of providing a full service Landscape design and Build Firm.  Custom Landscape Renovation and Construction, Landscape Bed Building and Planting and a Full Range of Custom Woodworking Services include Estate Gates, Fences and Decks.  Professional Installation services all Designed and Installed In-Housunder the direct supervion of Owner, Lead Designer and Head Installer, Danny Carroll.  Inspiring designs blend Beauty and Function in many shapes and forms with a variety of soft-scape and hard-scape materials.  

Through the years in Columbia, MO, Danny's Landscaping Inc. has become the leading installer of Pave Stone retaining wall and patio stones. Unruly slopes become terraced gardens. Dull and unusable yards become beautiful patio and fire pit entertainment areas.  Stone Pathways lead you from one outdoor area to another and from one garden to the next.  Under Pergolas and Over Decks, Beyond Privacy Fences and Through the Lawn.  Trees, Flowers and Shrubs complement the surrounding home and Nature.  Landscape Lighting sets off the whole project at night and provides safety, illumination and day and night dimension to the landscape.   If we can dream it, we can build it.  Lots of people do it...but we do it better.

a note from the owner:

To the best of my recolection, Danny's Landscaping Inc. really started in 1990 when, at the tender age of 10, my father refused to buy me any more drum stuff. At which point I took his lawn mower (and his gas can) and proceeded to solicit lawn mowing jobs from my neighbors. He was always better at teaching me to fish, if you know what i mean. I appreciate my upbringing more and more with each passing day. I had always been passionate about the outdoors and creating pleasant outdoor environments with my imagination and hard work. I used to walk under my father as he mowed the back yard, keeping my hands on the controls underneath his. I was so excited to have shoveled 100 pounds of peat moss at 8 years old when we were installing the new above ground pool. I continued to work outdoors whenever the opportunity presented itself and throughout my illustrious high school career I mowed and maintained accounts on my own and worked for other service providers.

In 1998, I moved to Columbia, MO and began working for the University Landscape services while I studied Horticulture, Plant Science and Landscape Design at the University under the incredible tutelage of Chris Starbuck and David Trinklein . Upon completing my education I once again ventured out on my own with little more than an S.U.V, a rake and the determination to succeed. In 2006, Dannys Landscaping became an official incorporation.

From little more than a rake and an S.U.V., we have grown the business into one of the leading landscape design, construction, installation and maintenance facilities in the area.  We are proud to have become a company that people can trust, providing impeccable workmanship, knowledgeable staff and an honorable reputation.

In the last 9 years Dannys Landscaping Inc. has become the number 1 installer of PaveStone retaining wall and patio products in Columbia, MO. Thanks to all who have supported us along the journey as we enter our 9th season in service to Columbia.
