To introduce myself, I would like to give you a short professional biography. In May 1977, I graduated from Graceland College, Lamoni, Iowa with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. After I graduated, I worked for General Motors at the Leeds Plant in Kansas City, Missouri as an assembly line worker until I could find a position in Biology or Chemistry. This search didn’t take long. In November of that year I went to work as a research chemist for Midwest Research Institute in Kansas City, Missouri. In August of 1980 I quit this position to enroll at the University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC) Dental School and four years later, by the grace of God and a loving supportive wife, I graduated. I have been practicing family dentistry since June of 1984 and truly enjoy the art of making beautiful smiles.

Throughout my dental career I have been involved in many outside activities at various levels of responsibility. These activities and responsibilities include:

However, considering all my past and present activities, my greatest accomplishments are that I have been a husband since 1979 and a father since 1989.

Our mission as a practice is to provide a consistently outstanding dental experience that treats each patient as family. We hope to see patients on time and provide them with quality care, skill, and judgment. We will accomplish these goals with honesty and integrity. I Had a Good Experience...

My journey to recovery brought me to Dental-Innovations Dr. Ralph K. Ruckman a dentist whose exceptional skills and dedication completely cured a dental issue that had plagued me for years. I'm All Smiles...

I came to Dental Innovations at the recommendation of a friend. Needless to say, I cannot thank him enough for doing so. The staff is friendly and personable, bringing a much needed sense of personality to the field. "Family" is a word constantly mentioned and it's fitting. They are sincere and helpful even outside of normal operating hours. Dr. Ruckman has been nothing but an incredible dentist! I have had extensive work done and they've been doing everything they can to help along the way. Combined with a caring staff, Dental Innovations provides a low-stress dental experience that I cannot recommend enough. Thank you all for your help!
