About Us

We manufacture a lightweight concrete roofing tile called Elagante’, manufacturing it since 1996. We produce a variety of colors and textures to mimic wood shake, slate, or clay tile roofing. The weight of this product is comparable to wood shakes. Most of our business comes from customers who want to replace their worn out wood roofs. Typically, customers can have our tile installed with NO ADDITIONAL BRACING. Anybody who knows anything about tile roofs know they are HEAVY. Not Elagante’ !!!

Our factory is in Kansas City, MO. We can ship Elagante’ anywhere. Our product can be found in many U.S. states, and even in the West Indies !!!

In addition, we perform repairs on clay tile, concrete tile, and slate roofs.

I would give them zero stars if I could. All roof crews are sub contractors. They finished the work and we called them out 12 times because of leaks. The leaks ruined our garage sheetrock. They repaired it and it looked like crap. Had to hire a "good" company to make proper repairs. We have hired legitimate roofing companies to come out and do repairs entailing reinstalling numerous roof deck areas and tiles. However, we had some hail and filed a claim with our insurance company. They denied the claim because they had had experience with Di Benedetto and hired an engineering firm to look at the tiles. They determined that the manufacturing process was faulty and denied the claim, stating that these tiles do not hold up to weather. We found that to be true. Di Benedetto is now bankrupt, so their 50 year warranty is garbage and you can't even get replacement tiles, so we have to purchase a new roof. We made a huge mistake and recommended this company to others who are facing the same situations. This review won't matter as they are out of business, but feels good to get this in writing!!

If you get a roof installed by these guys, be sure to wear a clown suit after purchase. These guys are bumbs who need to be lined up in court and slapped in the face for representing dog shit quality.

Would not recommend this product nor the owner. Roof has numerous leaks, causing interior ceiling damage. Was sold as a 40 to 50 year product - has to be replaced in less than ten years. Owner refuses to accept responsibility for an inferior under roofing tile liner. Do not buy this product!

Do not deal with these lightweight roof tiles made by Jack Dibenedetto . We had these "Elagante tiles" installed two years ago. There are several that have already cracked. These Supposedly have 50 years warranty but the company has shady business practices and won't return our phone calls and emails. They are riding the clock so the three years parts and labor warranty will be over before we can ask them to repair their shady work. Now we have a leaky roof and thousands of dollars worth of water damage and feeling of helplessness.
