Lakewood Dental specializes in beautifying smiles and helping you improve your overall appearance. Our experienced and friendly staff takes great pride in keeping your smile beautiful. Dr. Matt Niewald received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, in 2001.  He also obtained his bachelor's in Biology from UMissouriKC.  Dr. Niewald is a fourth generation dentist in his family and is also a member of the American Dental Association, The Missouri Dental Association, the Greater Kansas City Dental Society, and the Kansas City Dental Implant Society.  Dr. Niewald currently serves as President of the Missouri Dental Assiciation, and most recently received the ADA's Golden Apple Award for Legislative Leadership.  Dr. Niewald resides in Lee's Summit with his wife Dr. Kristen Niewald and their two boys, Aidan and Ethan

Our Office is open Monday through Thursday, with hours that can accommodate most any schedule. We know that your time is important, and we work to ensure that your visit happens as professionally and quickly as possible.

• Tuesday and Wednesday 7:00 - 3:00
• Friday - By appointment
• Saturday and Sunday – Closed

Emergency and After Office Hours:
Dental emergencies are never convenient or timely.  We are committed to your dental health no matter what time of the day or night it is. If you have a dental emergency after regular office hours, please call us at (816) 478-1010.
