About Us

Gasconade County Abstract Company, Inc. is NOT your typical Title Company. It is a Title Plant. Established in 1936, GCAC has been owned and operated by a member of the Mundwiller family continuously for almost 75 years. Our company is the only title plant in gasconade County.

Our title plant contains a record of all recorded documents in Gasconade County since the first recorded document, which was filed on October 21, 1821. We are, therefore able to accurately search titles from that date or the original Patent date. Many times we are able to issue our work on the same day we receive the order.

We are also able to identify mineral reservations and easements that many title companies cannot, as the transactions often ocurred 100 or more years ago. Many title comapnies miss these transactions as they only perfom 45 year searches. Our services also include:
