We offer riding lessons for all levels of students, from beginner, to advanced. Our well trained school horses and professional instructors help for healthy development of our riders.

No Trail riding Available
Lessons start at the scheduled time and any tardiness take time away from your lesson. Required attire for riding are; Long pants, and closed toe shoes. Boots with a one inch heel are preferred.
Helmets are required for all riders and can be provided if needed!

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your lesson, 2 hours prior to lesson is requested. Any lesson not canceled will be charged for their time slot.

Showing Opportunities
We offer showing opportunities to anyone interested. Local Shows offer Academy classes where lesson horses and riders are given the chance to show off their skills.

We have been so happy at Glendale stables! Our daughter has been doing lessons there for a few months now and she loves it. We just booked her birthday party for April and she is so excited! Britney and Kent have been so welcoming and have been happy to spend extra time with my daughter talking to her about the horses and telling her stories about the barn animals. We would highly recommend this stable to anyone!

I have been riding since the age of 4 (I will be 19 this year) and have been riding at Glendale for the past three years. Upon moving to Glendale my riding improved considerably because of Kent’s careful and professional instruction, and his encouragement. I learned to be conscious of every detail and to give above 110% in everything I do. Because of this, I had the wonderful experience of competing on two International Invitational Teams. Without Glendale, this would not have been possible for me. At Glendale you will learn to ride and gain experience in a clean, safe, relaxed environment, regardless if you want to show extensively or ride for fun. Kent and Brittany have a true appreciation for and compassion for their horses, something I have seen time and again in their care of my horses. Glendale exhibits professionalism, patience unmatched by many in the industry.

I have been riding and showing with Glendale for 5 years. Whether you just want to ride recreationally or compete at a high level, the Glendale crew will support you and take you where you want to go! The facilities are exceptional and Kent is professional, patient, extremely knowledgeable, and so much FUN!

I couldn't agree more with what Frances said above! Both of my teenage daughters ride at Glendale Stables and we make the drive from Iowa almost every week for them to have the Glendale experience. It has been worth every mile! I look foward to the barn visits as much as the girls do because of the family friendly environment that is exhibited by the entire Glendale staff and extended family. My girls have grown not only in their riding ability but also in their confidence and self esteem and Glendale Stables has had a big part in that growth. Our horse is pretty happy to be living at Glendale as well! Wouldn't want to be anywhere else for our riding experience!
