Lance E. Hanson is associated as Of Counsel with deVries & Associates, P.C. His practice is focused primarily in the areas of workers compensation and personal injury. Hanson represented the claimant in Wells v. Brown, which was the most requested opinion from Missouri Lawyers Weekly for three weeks, and was voted Most Important Legal Opinion for workers compensation in 2000. He is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association, the Missouri Bar, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA), and the Workplace Injury Litigation Group (WILG).
Hanson was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1993 and the Kansas Bar in 1994. He received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of MissouriKansas City School of Law in May 1993. He obtained a B.A. in political science from the University of Northern Iowa in 1990. Hanson coaches youth sports through 3&2 Baseball of Johnson County and the Kaw Valley Football League
