About Us

Lucas Photography is a studio with a passion for people. Capturing life is the focus. People come to them for something creative that does not look like an ordinary image. From small beginnings in 1972, the studio has grown to be the premiere studio in the midwest. Many thousands of clients have been photographed by Lucas Photography for senior, family, children and baby portraits and wedding photography. Both father and son photographers, Roger and Matthew Lucas, have won many awards, including numerous Kodak and Fuji awards. Matthew has been named Missouri Photographer of the Year three times and National Photographer of the Year six times. He was one of only eight photographers internationally to achieve the prestigious Diamond level Photographer of the Year Award. These awards are important, but pleasing every clients is their goal.
