In 2000, a group of local investors comprised of home builders, realtors, appraisers, estate planners, insurance agents, accountants and self-employed business people got together to start a new kind of bank in Ashland, MO. The investors saw a need for a true community-based bank, where decisions were made locally and customers were treated with friendly service.
