About Us

Nick's Family Restaurant is a family owned and operated Restaurant located in the Jefferson City Memorial Airport which opened on November 5, 2001.  Nick's is certainly a local favorite with it's reputation for pan-fried chicken and country ham.  Diners come from as far as Columbia, Osage Beach, Rolla and even St. Louis to savor the recipe that started his father's business back in 1967.  Keeping with the family tradition, the menu remains the same as that of his father...featuring pan-fried chicken and country ham with all the side dishes.  Scott has expanded his menu to include breakfast, which is served Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. 

In addition to its day-to-day operations, the restaurant also offers a lunch and dinner catering service for groups of 30 or more.  The typical catering menu consists of Pan-fried Chicken and/or Country Ham, Green Beans, Potatoes & Gravy, Cole Slaw, Applesauce, Bread & Butter and Plates, Silverware and Napkins.  PicNick carry out meals are also available to feed 4 or 6 adults for the business lunch or family dinner. 

At Nick's Family Restaurant, the dining area accommodates up to 72 diners.  The restaurant can also be opened for meetings and private parties after regular business hours.  When you are planning your next event, remember Nick's Family Restaurant for our in house dining, take-out meal service and catering, for a meal that is sure to please all members of your party.

We are available to serve you Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on Friday we reopen at 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Sundays 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Accepted methods of payment are Cash, Check, MasterCard, Visa and we do take Traveler's Checks.
