He and his wife, Jennifer, also co-owner, are proud to have on staff the talents of Optometrist Emma Schafers O.D., and Optician Jennifer Zimmerman. Together, they offer advanced eye care with comprehensive exams, glasses, contacts and over 1,200 current personally selected fashion frames, from value to designer.

Pearle Vision-Sunset Hills is now offering digital retinal imaging exams. This procedure, which involves amplified retinal imaging, allows optometrists a much larger view of the back of the eye (the retina), and creates a permanent patient record. In many cases, it may eliminate the need for dilation.

“With the more advanced technology, we have increased our focus on complete eye care, including evaluation of eye health, rather than just refraction,” said Jack Priesmeyer. "We are able to identify general health conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure simply by evaluating a patients’ eyes.

“I truly love working with people to achieve their goals through good vision, whether with eyeglasses or contact lenses,” said Dr. Schafers. “When I have a happy and excited patient leave my office, I feel that I’ve done my job.”
