Perfect Fit Alterations in Columbia MO. offers the two leading seamstresses in the community.
We have opened our new shop to be able to offer the “European Quality” and attention to detail alterations at a price which is reasonable that has not been available in Mid-Missouri.
With a combination of over 25 years of experience we service everything from basic repair alterations ($5 and up) to custom gown alterations.
Owner, Hristina, studied at a Professional Sewing School in Bulgaria. Hristina was the lead seamstress at a wedding salon and worked with designer Mirena. Hristina specializes in being able to design and alter wedding dresses, pageant gowns, prom dresses and much, much more.
Svetlana studied at a Design School in Russia and her skills include repairing knit-wear, custom fitting and tailoring of men and women’s garments. Svetlana also worked at the Tver Philharmonic in Tver, Russia.
We look forward to providing you with the “Perfect Fit” you deserve at a price you can afford.

DO NOT recommend. Terrible customer service extreme lack of professionalism, do NOT recommend. Owner/employee who is typically there most days does a horrible job a greeting and listening to customers needs as stated in several other reviews. She appeared extremely rude and frustrated when I asked her to perform certain alterations stating, “I don’t want to do that, I can’t do that.” Regardless of all the positive reviews, the owner needs to understand that if you are attempting to attract NEW customers, customer service and appropriate respectful service is REQUIRED AND needed. There are several other alternations shops in town to choose from. This shop missed out on a customer who actually PAYS for custom alterations due to her unprofessional and utterly rude attitude. Her shop was not busy at all, so I don’t understand what her issue was. The place is also overpriced for basic alterations. The other reviews stating experiences of her unprofessional customer service are correct. I did NOT feel valued as a customer and will NOT return. DO NOT recommend taking your clothing to this shop as they clearly do NOT value customers. DO NOT recommend.

I wanted to thank you for tailoring my suit for the upcoming wedding! I appreciate the attention to detail as well as the quick turn time. The affordable price is nice too!! I would highly recommend Perfect Fit Alterations to anyone including both men and women.
