About Us

R & S Masonry has been laying brick Kirksville, MO and surrounding areas for more than 35 years. They are family owned and operated and treat all of their costumers like family.  Ron Mckim started this masonry business in Kirksville many years ago and has taught his children and grandchildren his expertise in making fireplaces and tuck pointing. His staff consists of his two sons Steve and Tom Mckim and also his grandchild.  

They are  known throughout Kirksville MO for their skilled brickwork. R & S Masonry is one of the few qualified construction companies in the area who can repair foundations and repair stucco work.

The business started in 1978 with Ron Mckim doing mason work around the area and for unions. They soon took off and R & S became one of the most respected brick layers around.

 Masonry is a work of art that originated a long long time ago.  The craft is ancient, but today’s masonry skills and materials are better than ever. Masons must first find out the condition of the brick that they are working on and apply our knowledge of both old masonry techniques as well as modern techniques in repairing deteriorating or broken brick buildings.
