My name is Howard Schinkel. I am the owner of Schinkel’s Carpet Cleaning and we have been in business since March 1976. I started cleaning carpet in Mexico, Missouri and since then I have expanded to serving Central Missouri including Columbia,Montgomery City, Vandalia, and other surrounding areas. We specialize in carpet & upholstery cleaning and also clean all types of area rugs such as oriental wool and silk which can be picked up and delivered for more convenience to you.

We offer a full line of services including fire & water restoration, carpet, upholstery, and drapery cleaning, as well as color repair, odor control, textile cleaning and tile and grout cleaning.

We are able to work with you in all areas including suggestions as to what type of carpet would suit your lifestyle and caring for it once it has been installed. Our crew has been trained and certified with IICRC to do the best work on your job. We work closely with the homeowners and insurance to see that your home is restored back to the original condition. I am thoroughly pleased with the job done on the carpet at the Missouri Theatre in Columbia, Mo. The high traffic areas are now spotless. Stains from food and drink were gone in quick fashion. Everyone was very polite and professional. Top notch job.
