Assisted Living
Now there’s some place like home.
In a quilt, colorful squares of fabric weave into a spectacle of texture and pattern, each as unique and colorful as the caring hands that made them.
Like a quilt, no two homes look exactly the same. Home evokes feelings of comfort… family…familiarity. Walk into our home. It may not be your home, but it will feel just as inviting.
When the demands of living in your home require more than you’re willing and able to give on your own, you’ll find a welcome home with us. As well as all the help you need. But you may not notice it right away, because that’s part of our charm.
We believe in exercising just the right touch. One more felt than seen. Come see for yourself. You’ll be surprised at how comfortable you feel.
Who’s there to help?
Behind the scenes, a full-time licensed nurse provides oversight. Plus doubles as a health services coordinator concerning every resident’s planning and care needs. The nurse makes sure that each person receives the right level of support with minimal intrusion — both from our staff and from outside resources like home health or rehabilitation. Residents can receive assistance around the clock.
This low-key, yet coordinated, approach to health care lets you maintain your chosen level of independence for as long as possible.
What about dining?
Of all meals, breakfast most reflects your lifestyle. We serve an informal, stroll-in breakfast, with meals cooked to order daily.
Lunch and supper are served restaurant-style. Our menus reflect your preferences and favorite recipes. We accommodate special menu requests and prescribed dietary requirements.* Our dining rooms contain intimate tables of four or more set with china service and table linens. Even a private dining room when you’d like to host a dinner or a family gathering.
Who keeps house?
Keeping house may not be exciting, but we do come through daily to tidy things up. And we have a regular schedule of routine deep cleaning in each room. We try to live up to your own high standards, including the laundry. We know how folks are about their clothes, and we’ll treat your wardrobe with extra care.
What am I going to do every day?
How you fill your day is up to you. We realize you’ve seen enough to make your own choices.
On your own -
The comfort of a good book, downloading pictures of the grandkids, walking your dog through the garden (yes, pets are just as welcome as you are). You name it; you can do it.
All together now -
Some folks love to join right in. We strike a balance between planned programs (movies, bridge tournaments, live entertainment) and spontaneous events (current event discussions, afternoon tea on the porch, a power walk around the grounds). We encourage togetherness, but never force it. You can still actively participate in your own community. Even host functions here with us.
What should I do next?
Helping individuals and families find a warm welcome is vital. We realize the importance of security and peace of mind about the decision – for all concerned. Sit down with us to discuss your options.
Let us help enhance your independence and your ability to meet life head-on by giving you just the right support at the right time. And that should make anyone feel right at home.
