My husband purchased my wedding set at Tatmans Jewlery from Mike Tatman himself about 3 years ago. Recently I called Mike and requested an appraisal for my wedding ring. 3-4 weeks later no response at all so I decided to contact him again. First his wife called me back asking me if I was Gary's beauty shop no I said I am a customer that has spent thousands of dollars for my wedding ring and need to reinsure the ring as we have changed insurance companies and it is no longer insured. Never getting a phone call back from them after that conversation, I once again called back and this is what Mike said to me. I must leave my wedding ring there at there store with them so they can appraise it. I said no I do not feel comfortable doing that and since the intire set was purchased at your store you should have the specks and inventory data on it. Still I had to come into the store and per Mike he did not have the records on his inventory of my ring. I still had to give him my ring so he could appraise it. I have spoken to 2 jewlers regarding this and both have told me about the same thing. If the ring is purchased at the store the records would indicate all that was necessary to do an appraisal. Beware gentleman and ladies of doing any business with this store they are dishonest and I would think 5 times before ever leaving anything with them. Their conduct through out this process has been very dishonest one story after another. Needless to say Justice Jewlers have treated us right!
