About Us

The Cue is a great pool hall in Maplewood. The current day "Cheers" some would call it. Everyone who comes in becomes a regular. Nine pool tables and one that's free, a big wrap-around bar and billiard and dart leagues four nights out of the week. An entertainment center mecca with five televisions and electronic games like Bags and Golden Tee.

The Cue

The dingy, poorly lighted pool halls of your grandfather's memory are a thing of the past. Billiard halls were once the bane of high society — at least in The Music Man, where pool sharks threatened to undo the moral fiber of River City. In this particular river city, though, you needn't look further than Maplewood's the Cue for a friendly game of 8-ball. Located in an unassuming strip mall, the Cue offers nine tables and — unless you're a total pro who travels with your own — a bevy of good-quality cues. The Cue succeeds in setting an inviting atmosphere by not cramming the space full of billiard tables; the bar area has plenty of seating for socializing or watching the game on the big-screen television, and the perky bar staff will serve you with a smile. Sure, the regulars may try to hustle you, but that's part of the charm of a pool hall.

The Cue rates as one of the premier sports bars in the entire St. Louis area for serious pool and adult beverages in a friendly, affordable atmosphere. Now improved to include ten 7-foot tables and even more arcade games, how can you not have fun?
With the city's new no-smoking legislation, customers enjoy a clean atmosphere yet pleasant accommodations are made for those who choose to puff.
And when it comes to APA league play or the format of your choice, the clientele of The Cue includes some of the best shooters in the state! Although many players from The Cue qualify for Vegas tourney play, they play for the fun of it, giving The Cue a non-threatening, friendly feel.

I've been checking pool venues in Chicago since I moved here in July 2010 and I haven't found anything close! And you will love the bartenders and owner Jeremy!

Very laid back bar with lots of accessible pool tables, darts, and big screen tvs with a variety of programing (not just baseball and football - always http://fuel.tv and goal on at least one screen).
Wide variety of clientle who are very sociable - not stuck up regulars - and very friendly bar tenders and staff.
No food besides pizza, but Porter's Chicken is next door and Jimmy Johns will deliver without any trouble.
Drinks are very reasonable and holiday, party and charity events are held regularly.
During the week there are lots of people there for APA pool league who are more than happy to find some new team members.
Parking can be tight on Friday and Saturday but overflow parking is available at the gas station at the end of the shops.
Overall, a very friendly place to hang out.
