About Us

The Playground, LLC is locally owned and licensed childcare facility  in Columbia MO.  opened to all ages 6 weeks 9years old. All of our classrooms have complete theme based curricula, which touch all developmental areas; cognitive, social, emotional, and small/gross motor development. Our goal at The Playground, LLC is to help children expand their knowledge through interactive play both inside and outside of the classroom. Through cooperative learning both at our center and at home, we believe that our families will learn to live and grow together in harmony and understanding.

Our staff is chosen based not only on experience, but enthusiasm and love for children. All staff members go through a stringent interview process to ensure that we are providing high quality care at all times to your child. All staff members are put on a 3 month probationary period and are trained in health, welfare, and sanitation issues monthly, and are also required to obtain CPR certification for infants, children, and adult ages
