About Us

I began cooking and catering many years ago, as a teenager and then young mom, for my church and for various civic organizations I am involved with. In 2003, I began to get formal requests from friends to cater small lunches and suppers for family gatherings. In 2004, I rented a small commercial kitchen, located in downtown Ashland Missouri, and Word Of Mouth Catering, Inc. became official.

I service the Columbia/Jefferson City area, and for larger events, I have catered as far away as St Louis and have even catered in Iowa. I operate the entire business myself. My husband and children assist with large events, such as weddings.
