HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE...PHONE NEVER WORKED....NEVER TRIED TO HELP, CHARGED ME AND NEVER CARED THAT I HAD A DIAL TONE, RUDE SHORT, UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF SHOWED NO REMORSE OR NO OFFER TO REFUND OR EVEN FIX MY LINE!!!!!!!! --CUSTOMER SERVICE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!Service never worked, no attempt to help....customer service was horrible, rude, shorT. Hold time was 40+ mins I got service in August and told I would have service in 2-3 days. I plugged phone in and NEVER got a dial tone. I made several attempts to call customer service and was put on hold for 40 plus mins sometimes never recieving an answer. They have an automated agent that tells you they will call you back and hold your place in line---that never happened. Finally I got ahold of somebody and told them the problem I was having -- they were the most unprofessional customer service EVER -- never showed an emotion, empathy towards the fact I was having an issue, no "I'm sorry, we will get this fixed!"...NOTHING! The agent proceeds to tell me to go outside my apartment building and plus my phone outside in a jack somewhere. I thought that was VERY unprofessional and something I should not have to do. I repeatedly tried to call back when I could and sometimes only got a busy signal. What kind of business is that? I soon got a statement for $20. I paid it because part of me still thought they would try harder to fix it and I wanted to pay to prevent incurring any late charges. Keep in mind I can not get ahold of them. I then am in the process of moving so I decide to wait and just have my service switched, incase it is something with MY inside line. I call customer service after waiting 39 mins and finally get someone on the phone who answers "Hello?" like it is not even a business. I asked them to switch my service and express to them I have never recieved a dial tone YET...still no remorse, although they do acknowledge that they see I've been having problems in the notes for my account. They tell me that my phone will be on that day by 7PM in my new location. Guess what, it was not on once again. I am a single mom and I NEED to have a working land line. At this point I am VERY aggravated, with good right. So I simply make other arrangments and call to cancel. At this point they have sent me another billing statement. I call and finally get through after waiting 30+ mins and tell them I want to cancel because I never got a dial tone and I would like a refund because I'm not paying for something in which I never used. She transfers me to what they called a supervisor. This lady was the MOST unprofessional, rude, inconsiderate person I have ever delt with. She proceeds to tell me that I can not get a refund because I paid my bill. If I wasn't getting a dial tone I should have never paid my bill. I payed my bill to give them the benefit of the doubt it would work in my new location and to prevent late charges. That is not right!! I asked her to review the notes and see that I have been having issues....she NEVER not once appologized for the problems I have been having. So why should I have to pay for soemthing I never got to use? It is stated in the account I haven't had a dial tone. They are crooks, theives and have no customer service skills. I have had service with AT&T, DirecTV, TMobile, etc. They have EXCELLENT customer service, show remorse and even try to keep your business. If you have problems they will send someone out or troubleshoot and not expect you to do your own troubleshooting. If they can't fix your service most of the time they will make it right. I KNOW i cannot be the only person complaining about these people and do not know how they can still be in business!! I will continue to tell everyone about yourtel america and I will post reviews on the internet. This is not right!!!
