From the owner:
I was compelled to open Alert Now when I discovered the need for Personal 
Emergency Response Systems.  Having served over 20 years as a law 
enforcement officer and over 15 years in the home security industry, I discovered 
that home security companies had no interest in providing this type of system.  
After discovering FreedomAlert and LifeSentry Systems, I decided to build a 
company based on Personal Emergency Response Systems that would allow our 
elderly to continue living in their home and have access to friends, family 
members, 911 operators, or a 24 hour monitoring center.  This would allow 
them to retain their independence for as long as possible, while giving peace of 
mind to their family concerning their safety. -Jim Rupert
