About Us

Happy Hearts Preschool is locally owned and operated Child Care & Day Care Service in the heart of Jefferson City on the corner of Missouri Boulevard and Ohio Street.  We have a large newly remodeled space that houses two  groups of children.  Our director has a degree in Early Childhood Education and has worked with children and families for many years.  Our lead teachers have either a 2 year or 4 year degree in the same field or a closely related one.  We focus on children 2-5 years of age.

We offer the following services to our children and families:

*A complete school readiness program including art, sensory play, math and science exploration, a reading and writing center and much more!

*Continuous training for our teachers, including first aid and CPR, early childhood curriculum training and workshops on developmentally appropriate practice.

*Parent activities to encourage connections between home and school.

*Healthy meals prepared on site to ensure good nutrition.

*Acceptance of state assistance, military assistance and participation in the School Lunch Program.

*Daily communication with parents

At Happy Hearts Preschool we are small enough to provide individualized care, yet large enough to prepare your child for kindergarten and other group settings.  We will work closely with  families to understand  needs and wishes. It is an ideal setting for families who have siblings in the 2-5 year old range that wish to keep their children together.

We are available to serve you Monday through Friday 6:30-6:00

We accept Cash, Checks, Military and State Assistance.
