About Us

At Phil’s Towing, we take pride in what we do, and we are here to serve the St. Louis County area. We have been in business since January 2011 and will do whatever it takes to get the job done right.

We are a full service towing and recovery company, available 24 hours per day, 6 days per week. We work every day but Sunday. We do, however, accept occasional appointments on Sunday.

We provide lockout service, tire changes, and all recovery work.

Please call us at 314.677.7445 for all your towing needs. We service the entire St. Louis County area, including Kirkwood, Rock Hill, Brentwood, Des Peres, Ballwin, Manchester, Chesterfield and Wildwood. We appreciate referrals and will always make sure the customer is completely satisfied.

Fantastic!

Oh my, MoDotcame, announced there was a shift change, and left, abandoning me at the side of the road. I was in a horrible spot - guard rail on the right, inches from 270 on the left, abandoned van in front, entrance ramp onto 270 right behind. Me sitting there with a shredded tire. Phil stayed with me until the police came to actually halt traffic in the cold, dreary rain so I could pull out, driving on the rim to the next exit so Phil could change the tire. Then, later, when I called him and said the darn car wouldn't move, he calmly explained that the emergency brake wasn't disengaging, had me engage it - disengage it again. After several tries it worked and I could drive to get new tires. He was wonderful.

Phil made molehills out of mountains

We needed a derelict vehicle removed from a garage that had been sitting there for decades. The tires were flat & would not move. The motor was out of the car & set aside. The only entry to the garage was off a narrow, city alley. Through a mutual friend, I got Phil's phone number & called with my problem. He was very reassuring that he could get the job done. He showed up at the agreed time & within 20 min. had the derelict loaded onto his truck. I still don't understand how he did it. The garage door wouldn't open all the way, he had to pull it from a 90 degree angle & overcome other barriers. He & his assistant did this in a very calm & professional manner. Thank you again Phil.

Awesome service

I have been using Phil for years, even prior to opening his own towing service. I would ignore the previous review. I met Phil through some friends a few years back- not only has he changed my tires, brought me gas, unlocked my car, he came and picked up my car on the side of the highway at dusk after I hit a deer going 60 miles an hour. Luckily we were not hurt. He stayed longer than he needed to with his lights on until someone picked my daughter and I up and were safely off the highway. He would not leave until he knew that we were safe! I will continue to use Phil solely in the St. Louis and surrounding areas! Among other things he is funny and was able to take my mind off of my current situation and put my young daughter at ease- she was very nervous and scared. If I could put 10 stars I would!!!

Very unsatisifed

Please take care, and the very best of luck, if you decide to use this towing company. We had called for a tow for our Malibu, which was broken down on the side of HYW 270. At the time that we called, we were asked when we needed the car towed. We told "PHIL" that we needed the car towed ASAP, since it was on the side of the highway. we were told, at this time, that it would be picked up. The following day, at 6:00am, I happened to drive by and found that the car was not only still there, but was missing all wheels, tires and battery. Additional parts may be missing, we are not sure yet. I contacted Phil and was told that although he had made a verbal contract, which is how most towing companies opperate, he claimed that he was not responsible. I explained that he was liable, due to the fact that he had made a verbal contract to pick up the car the day before. Furthermore, he seemed to tire of the conversation and informed me that he was done talking and was going to go ahead and enjoy the rest of his Sunday. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNRELIABLE. DO NOT USE THIS TOW COMPANY, UNLESS YOU PLAN ON STAYING WITH YOUR CAR, WHICH COULD BE HOURS OR DAYS.
