Billy’s buses left have my wedding guests stranded and Billy promised me a refund that he never followed through on!!!
Per our contract and the bus schedule that Billy responded to saying no problem a few days before our wedding, his two buses were supposed to pick up half our guests at a hotel, take them to a vineyard and then go back and pick up the rest of the guests at the hotel and take them to the vineyard. But his drivers forgot to pick up half our guests at the hotel!!! Instead the drivers sat in the parking lot of the vineyard smoking... The groomsmen didn’t realize they hadn’t gone back to the hotel to pick the rest of the guests up until right before the wedding was supposed to start. It was at least a 20 minute drive from the vineyard to the hotel, so instead of delaying the wedding 40+ minutes the groomsmen called everyone they knew and told them the buses weren’t coming and get to the wedding as fast as they could.
I was worried about all my friends and family when I found out what had happened and I felt terrible that had happened to our guests!! I had promised them all a bus that never came. That is exactly the kind of feeling you don’t want to feel on your wedding day (a day you will always remember and one that we spent over $17,000 on).
I called Billy after I got back from our honeymoon to see if he was going to do anything to make this right? I was very understanding at that point because everyone makes mistakes. Billy apologized and said he would give me some kind of refund but didn’t say how much. When I called to follow up about this he started to avoid my calls. One time I called during the day and he asked me to call back at 5:30 then he wouldn’t answer. He also wasn’t responding via email. So I emailed him saying he already almost ruined my wedding and now he needed to stop wasting my time! I said was going to post my story anywhere I could give him an unacceptable review if he never gave us anything back. And then he responded and said he would give me $250 refund after he almost ruined my $17,000 wedding. I said I wanted at least $375 off because that was 1/4 of what I paid and the buses didn’t make 2 of the 8 trips they were supposed to. He said he would refund us $375 in 5-10 business days. That was 44 days ago and we still haven’t gotten it!!!
