Review of APS Towing

They only get one star because that's the lowest possible rating available.
I had my car towed because of a bad starter. After my dad changed my starter and I drove my car, I found that the 4wheel drive shifter moved back and forth with one finger...not supposed to. The tow driver came, not prepared to fix it(he brought no tools...he had to use my dads). He came to give me the excuse that it just wears out over time. It was working fine prior to the tow. My car also no longer shifted when driving it just revved and the RPM's were high. The came to get my car to "fix it'. The driver said they would take care of it. They didn't, I no longer have four wheel drive capabilities. The driver is refusing to take responsibility and the owner wouldn't call me back. However, he told my dad today when he called, that he's tried to get a hold of me several times. He didn't! They also used a 1/4 tank of gas without replenishing. I mentioned this to the driver and asked who was going to cover that cost. He told me that it was because my dad drove around the block (3 times total) when he came to "fix it". Really? With gas mileage like that I would have to fill up everyday. They can't even come up with believable lies. The tow drivers stories keep changing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REASON!

By Owner 10/04/2011 In response to this review we towed Mrs Beushausen vehicle to our shop after she accussed our company of damaging her four wheel drive shifter/linkage and had a ase master certified technician check her vehicle linkage he found that transmission appears to have been replaced not long before we towed Mrs Beushausen vehicle the cable for four wheel drive shifter was broken under vehicle at transfer case and the cable was not secured properly to frame it was secured to transmission cooler line with plastic wire tie and rubbing front drive shaft the cable was worn through outter casing and into the metal of cable we have pictures on file of this damage caused before we ever towed the vehicle we towed vehicle with wheel lift and dollies there is no way possible anything we did could reach the area to cause this damage. We towed Mrs Beushausen vehicle back to her home in driving condition in two wheel drive at our exspense no charge to Mrs Beushausen we strive to have one hundred percent client satisfaction and will repair any damage to vehicles at our exspense if the damage is obviously our fault thank you for reading this comment.
